About the Program

The Applied Learning Centre of Phnom Penh, funded by USAID under the Advancing Youth Leadership Project, is a 5-month part-time program to kickstart your journey as a high-performer and future leader.

The program includes a 3-month learning phase with classroom sessions, real-life applications, and coaching & mentoring, followed by a 2-month part-time paid internship with a reputable employer partner.

Who can join the Program

Any Cambodian aged 18-29, who is either University educated and/or has 1-2 years of working experience, currently living in Phnom Penh and must be available to attend all scheduled sessions of the program.

Program timeline

Learning + Internship

Step 1: Sep - Oct 2024

Recruitment process: application, assessment & selection

Step 2: Nov 2024 - Jan 2025

Weekly Classroom Learning: 1 day per week
Weekly Coaching: 1.5 hours per week
Skill Practice: Engage in activities between classroom sessions to apply what you’ve learned

Step 3: Feb - Mar 2025

Internship and workplace project for 20 hours per week (2 months)

Step 4: Apr 2025
